Dirty Laundry Available NOW On DVD

AWARD-WINNING DIRTY LAUNDRY
IS NOW AVAILABLE ON DVD

Dirty Laundry, the award-winning film that everyone has been talking about, is now available on DVD. The DVD is in stores nationwide including, Walmart, Best Buy, Target and Barnes & Noble. It is also available online at Amazon.com. Don't waste any time... get your copy of this groundbreaking, heartfelt and funny film today.

Dirty Laundry follows Patrick (Rockmond Dunbar), a New York magazine writer, who seems to have the "perfect life," until one day there is a knock at the door. On the other side stands a secret that brings him face to face with the traditional southern family he hasn't seen in over 10 years. At the core of the film's success are the standout performances from Dunbar, Jennifer Lewis and particularly Loretta Devine as the hard-edged matriarch of the family, Evelyn.

Variety says, "Dirty Laundry…belongs to Loretta Devine. Devine builds a jolly and touching character from the stock figure of a Georgia mom coming to terms with her disaffected gay son."

O Magazine's Editor-At-Large, Gayle King proclaims, "this is a very important story that has never been told before."

Maurice Runea, This movie is absolutely amazing and touching, It is a must have for your DVD collections.

I Finally Did It!

Well People, Im in the mood to share, So here we go...
Those close to me know I wanted to get my nipples pierced for some time now (approximately 3yrs.) and last monday I finally got the nerve to do it... Im just writing about it because I needed to get used to them and see how I felt after the short process...

Prior to getting the peircing, people would tell me these horror stories that halted me from doing it earlier, but last monday 2/11/08, I left work with the intentions of heading home and decided to go get it done @ W.4th without telling anyone what I was doing...

It really was'nt that bad or as near freitening as people made it out to be, the most painful part that I was'nt prepared for was when he peirced the first nipple, It felt equavalent to having my finger slammed in the door, Im not going to front, I almost jumped out the chair and said freak it, keep the money, but I took a breather and he did the other... amazingly it did'nt hurt that bad at all... It was sore as hell but it did'nt hurt, actually my second tattoe hurt more... The only bad thing about ihaving the peircings is I know alot of huggers and Im not fully healed yet, LOL...

Now im going into day 7 and the soreness is next to being extinct, But the sensation is crazy, I cant explain it, I was told the peircings makes you super extra sensitive, they were not lying... Im Loving It (typing with big smile on my face).

Maurice Runea's Fashion Week Experience

I was personally invited to Fashion Week presented by Qu Qu Events at the Oreintial Loft and they truly rolled out the red carpet for me, first when I arrived I was infomed that I was on Dexter Ivory's (runway coach/ fashion designer/ stylist extrodinaires) V.I.P. guest list and then I was escorted to my front row seats... Yes they know how to treat celebs forsure, lol.

The show was quite interesting, there were some very interesting pieces that hit the runway, and all the designers did there thing. I especially loved how they intertwined the show with skinny and plus size models... I enjoyed myself, It was a long fashion show though (close to 16 designers showcased there pieces and the show lasted a little over two hours),, I took so many pictures, I caught a cramp in my hand and then I got sleepy, but I had to keep smiling because the press was filming and you always have to be camera ready, Don't want to be caught on film napping.

After the show I was invited backstage where I meet some of the models, posed for pictures, made contacts with other designers and I've been asked to be part of the next Fashion Week... Im excited about that.

I was amazed at how many people recognized me and knew who I was, They were walking up to me for my contact info like I was Beyonce or something, lol, I loved it!

This has been a great week for me, I was told earlier today that I am wanted for this movie role, and Im about to be in talks with four publications in reference to me writing for them... How cool is that? I guess it's true, If you put it out into the Universe it will become a reality.

Don't Spend Major Time With Minor People

If there are people in your life who continually disappoint you, break promises, and stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult times...that is not a friend.

To have a friend you must be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals interests and lifestyle.

When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends who enrich my life. Over the years the names in my phone book have changed because I've changed for the better. At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life and that makes life so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together. If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens: Chickens Can't Fly!

I love myself and the Lord and thank Him for all that he does in my life, When fake people do things to intentionally hurt me, I know I can count on him to always have my back. He is my source of existence. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things.

Be Positive - Be Progressive
Take the time to make a positive difference in someone's life. Walk by faith, not by sight
Receive your blessings. Heal the past; live the present; dream the future.

To all you shady former friends, Thanx for teaching me the lessons that were meant for me to learn, for all the people who genuiely love me, keep doing so, your love, support and advice, coupled with my beliefs is what helped me to survive the coup of chickens that was trying to hold me down, So all my fellow Eagles lets glide away, Be happy, prosperous and leave the chicken (heads, LOL) to perish.

Friends, Don't Hurt Friends, But Enemies Have No Boundries
(inspired by an ongoing situation that lead up to recent events)
