Noah's Arc Movie & Reception

Noah's Arc is my new favorite movie, I absolutely loved it! from beginning to end, non-stop drama and excitement. Patrick Ian Polk and the cast most definately delivered in my opinion.

I know one thing, this movie has made me realize what I want for Christmas.... Those boots Noah had on in the beginning of the movie when he threw his foot up on the ferry banister or Trey, whichever you find first, lol.

Saturday, October 25th, was also the Noah's Arc: Jumping The Broom Reception at Billie's Black in Harlem immediately following the 4:15pm showing at Chelsea Cinemas.

I would like to thank everyone who made this reception a complete success, the place was packed with beautiful, successful, sexy men and women. Thanx again for your love and support, myself, Dwight Allen O'Neal and Likwuld Thank You All So Much... Special shout to BBOP for promoting us on your podcast, we luv ya.

Well let me give those of you who couldn't attend the rundown, after the movie everyone headed to Billie's Black in Harlem where they where all greeted with gold wedding bands at the door (keeping with the whole marriage theme) and was welcome into an euphoric atmosphere of love and bonding, old acquaintances got reacquainted and new acquaintance['s got acquainted.

The venue keeping up with the color scheme from the wedding in the movie was decked out with lavender, pink and white balloons, lavender & white rose petals, white candles and little lavender sachets filled with mints, everything matched, even the host... This event truly exceeded my expectations and the guest list read like a who's who... We had the one & only Mr.Nathan 7 Scott in the house, Cornelius Jones (Actor/Writer/Singer/Educator/Activist/Vocal & Performance Coach ), BBOP (host of the Beautiful Boyz Of Pride Podcast Show), Nathan James (Author of Gay Erotica), Likwuld (1/2 of the phenomenal recording duo Rebel Starr), Buttafly Soul (Actor/Singer/Comedian), Kurt Shannon Butts (director of the film "Blueprint"), Nhijo (recording artist), Adam Benjamin Irby (blogger/web designer), Dwight Allen O'Neal (creator and producer of the series "Christopher Street"), JR Rolley(Actor), The Legendary Luna Ortiz (famed photographer), Sekiya Dorsett (creator of the TheRainbowCollective.com), Rob ("I want To Work For Diddy")yours truly, Maurice Runea and a host of others... again Many Thanx To You All.

Don't Spend Major Time With Minor People

Happy Labor Day readers, I posted this back in February and Just felt the need to repost it again...

If there are people in your life who continually disappoint you, break promises, and stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult times...that is not a friend.

To have a friend you must be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals interests and lifestyle.

When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends who enrich my life. Over the years the names in my phone book have changed because I've changed for the better. At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life and that makes life so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together. If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens: Chickens Can't Fly!

I love myself and the Lord and thank Him for all that he does in my life, When fake people do things to intentionally hurt me, I know I can count on him to always have my back. He is my source of existence. He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things.

Be Positive - Be Progressive
Take the time to make a positive difference in someone's life. Walk by faith, not by sight
Receive your blessings. Heal the past; live the present; dream the future.

To all you shady former friends, Thanx for teaching me the lessons that were meant for me to learn, for all the people who genuiely love me, keep doing so, your love, support and advice, coupled with my beliefs is what helped me to survive the coup of chickens that was trying to hold me down, So all my fellow Eagles lets glide away, Be happy, prosperous and leave the chicken (heads, LOL) to perish.
