WHAT IS 3MV? 3MV (Many Men Many Voices) is an intervention for African American/Black Gay/Bi-sexual or Non-Identifying Men who sleep with men... 3MV looks at what drives our behaviors, our thinking and the decisions we make and allows for a serious in-depth look into who we are and looks at the ways in which we express ourselves, our love, and our lives. Some of the topic discussed and explored include, Tops and Bottoms, Dual Identity, Power In Relationships and The Man Of Our Dreams.
WHAT IS 3MV SUPPOSE TO DO? WHAT’S 3MV’S PURPOSE? 3MV is best experienced, rather than explained! The purpose of 3MV will vary for each person going through it. Ultimately 3MV’s purpose is to help foster healthier individuals and healthier communities!
HOW MUCH TIME WILL 3MV TAKE? 3MV is done in a retreat format, meaning that the 6 sessions are spread out over an entire weekend. 3MV sessions start on scheduled Friday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm . Please check your work and social schedules in order to be sure that you can commit to the entire weekend. absence of one day is mandatory dismissal!!!
WHERE IS 3MV? 3MV sessions will be held at: GMHC 119 West 24th Street, New York, NY (bet. 6th & 7th Avenues), ALL Applicants are REQUIRED to reportr tto GMHC prior to the 3MV Weekend to complete an intake, Please be aware that the intake will take about an hour.
WHAT DO I GET FOR COMING TO 3MV? In addition to lite refreshments Friday and a free Continental breakfast & free lunch Saturday and Sunday, Plus metrocards all three days, everyone who completes 3MV will also receive $75 cash for participating.
